2026-27 Mite 2 Registration

Birth Date: Between June 1, 2017 and May 31, 2019

Mite 2 is designed for players who are ready to continue developing their skating, hockey skills, and game awareness while building confidence in a fun, team-oriented environment. Practices place a greater emphasis on skating, puck control, passing, shooting, positioning, and teamwork as players prepare for the transition to Squirt hockey.

Mite 2 is the introduction of goalies and goalie duties typically rotate unless a particular skater(s) prefer to play goalie.

Outdoor practices are held Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6:30 PM throughout the season. In addition, indoor ice practices are scheduled as ice becomes available. Families can typically expect approximately 30 indoor practices between late September and February, providing valuable ice time before and throughout the outdoor season.

Mite 2 teams also participate in 1 home and 3–4 away jamborees during the season, giving players the opportunity to gain additional game experience, compete against neighboring associations, and continue developing their skills in a positive, age-appropriate environment.

Lastly, Mite 2 teams participate in a weekly league games during the season.
