2026-27 8U Registration

Birth Date: Between June 1, 2017 and May 31, 2019

Mirage 8U is designed for girls who are ready to take the next step in their hockey development while continuing to grow their confidence, skills, and love for the game in a positive, all-girls environment.

Players continue building strong skating fundamentals while expanding their puck control, passing, shooting, positioning, and hockey awareness. Practices emphasize teamwork, sportsmanship, and game situations that help players develop both individually and as teammates.

Practices begin in September with approximately two indoor ice sessions each week through October and early November. During the outdoor season, players can expect two outdoor practices each week, with additional indoor ice opportunities scheduled as available.

Throughout the season, U8 teams compete in an all-girls league with games typically scheduled once per week. Players also participate in four all-girls jamborees, providing exciting opportunities to compete against teams from across the region while continuing to develop their skills and build lasting friendships. Depending on scheduling and participation, additional exhibition games may also be played throughout the season.
