Blackhawk's Legacy

The NHL Chicago Blackhawks name and logo symbolizes an strong, brave and important historic person, Black Hawk of Illinois' Sac & Fox Nation.

The Twig Amateur Hockey Association is honored to have the opportunity to use the Black Hawk as our mascot and we have taken tremendous pride in it for more than 50 years. Twig Amateur Hockey Association treats our flag and mascot with both pride and respect. TAHA is aligned with the NHL Chicago Blackhawks motives to continue to support and ecourage the initiative to honor Chief Black Hawk through inclusivity and continous education.
